How quickly to expect improvement in a dog with osteoarthritis?
2017 March 6
Question:
Apart from the medication we received from our veterinarian I also consider buying glucosamine for our dog who suffers from osteoarthritis. How long will it take before we can expect improvement?
Answer:
In dogs with cartilage problems as a result of dysplasia, the effect of glucosamine can be noticed within a month. The dog will start walking smoother. We estimate that at the least 4 out of 5 dogs with dysplasia will benefit from the use of glucosamine.
